About the plates	These are standard chrome-plated neck plates designed to the Fender standard, the plates are 2" x 2.5" with holes on center at 1.5" and 2", respectively.
About the engraving	Using the newest Laser Engraving technology, the plate is etched a fraction of an inch, which turns the metal a rich brown color. Laser marking is permanent and easily visible. *LaserBlack Darkening is a manual 4-step process that changes the natural brown engraving to a black color
What designs work best?	Text and graphics work best. Photographs will also work, but for best results, photos should have a lot of white areas and should have good contrast. Images are converted to black and white before engraving. Shades of gray are engraved using a subtle pattern of tiny dots. For best results with detailed photographs, choose our Color Printed Plates.
What doesn't work well?	Very thin lines. Very small lettering. Subtle shading or highlighting.

I have bought 7 of these guitar neck plates from Jay and they really make an impression to my friends and clients on their guitars. Each one carries my unique logo and serial number/date. Jay does great work and gets them to me fast. And, the price is very affordable. Keep up the great work, Jay.

The neck plate is great quality and fit my Fender Stratocaster perfectly. The etched image on it turned out very well. Service was quick - I received a proof via email the day after I placed the order, and the item was delivered 3 or 4 days later. The screws that come with the neck plate are a bit smaller than the stock Fender neck screws - I recommend saving your old ones or buying stock Fender screws instead of using the ones supplied with the neck plate.
