About the plates	These are high-strength anodized Aluminum neck plates designed to the Fender standard, the plates are 2" x 2.5" with holes on center at 1.5" and 2", respectively.
About the engraving	Laser Engraving etches the plate a fraction of an inch, which turns the anodized finish white. Laser marking is permanent and easily visible.
What designs work best?	For this plate, photographs, text and graphics all work well.
What doesn't work well?	Very thin lines. Very small lettering. Subtle shading or highlighting.
