Direct Color Printing uses a technology that prints directly on the material being customized.
There are 3 layers of printing: a white base coat to cover up the color of the material, while boosting the brightness of the image; then the full color inks are printed; and finally, a clear coat varnish in either a glossy or matte/satin finish.
When preparing an image for uploading, keep in mind that there are 2 color palettes: RGB and CMYK. The RGB palette is what you see on phones and computers. The CMYK palette is used for printing, including the Direct Color Printing that we use. We will convert images to the CMYK palette, but because there are fewer colors available, results may look slightly different than the image uploaded.
The end product is extremely durable. Only sharp or abrasive objects can damage the product.
